Privacy notice
Last updated:
This notice explains what we do with the personal data you send us through this website. It is written to meet the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who is responsible for your data
Pyramid Ledger Ltd (trading as SOCGenX) is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice.
You can reach us about anything in this notice at info@socgenx.com.
What the form collects
When you send a request through our demo, contact, assessment, early access, partner or integration form, we collect:
- Your name
- Your work email address
- Your company
- Your country
- Your role
- Your SIEM and security stack, if you tell us
- Your message
- The type of request you chose
- That you ticked the consent box
To protect the form from abuse, your IP address is used to limit repeated submissions, and Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the form is sent by a person. We do not store your IP address with your request.
Why we use it
We use your details only to reply to your request: to arrange a demo, an assessment or a snapshot, to discuss a partnership or an integration, or to answer your question. We do not sell your details, and we do not add you to a marketing list.
Our lawful basis
We rely on your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing info@socgenx.com. If we go on to work together, we rely on the steps needed to enter into a contract with you.
How long we keep it
Your request reaches us as an email. We do not copy it into a database or a CRM. We keep the email for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, then delete it. Data used to limit repeated submissions is kept for no more than 10 minutes.
Who receives it
Your request is sent to the SOCGenX team's mailbox. These service providers process it on our behalf:
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website, runs the form, checks submissions with Turnstile and routes the email to us
- The email provider that hosts the SOCGenX mailbox
We do not share your details with anyone else unless the law requires it.
Transfers outside the UK
Cloudflare may process data outside the UK. Where it does, the transfer is covered by the safeguards UK GDPR requires, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of your data
- Ask us to correct it
- Ask us to delete it
- Ask us to restrict or stop using it
- Withdraw your consent
- Receive your data in a portable format
To use any of these rights, email info@socgenx.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
